En el corazón de la ciudad de México encontramos Plaza del Ángel, uno de los centros más importantes de antigüedades en Latinoamérica. Dentro de la plaza, famosa por su concurrido mercado de pulgas sabatino, se encuentra ubicada la galería Daniel Liebsohn fundada desde 1988. En el espacio se exhiben antigüedades y excentricidades, artes aplicadas del arte mexicano, europeo y oriental, que van desde el siglo XV. Es un lugar donde al cruzar la puerta, cambiamos de época inmediatamente, encontrando un espacio nuevo, donde las antigüedades habitan espacios contemporáneos.

Ejemplos de la escuela holandesa del siglo XVII y francesa del siglo XVIII, conviven con obra de los grandes artífices novohispanos, tales como Miguel Cabrera, Cristóbal de Villalpando, Joseph de Miranda, por mencionar algunos de los principales maestros del periodo, todos ellos en una ecléctica mezcla con desbordados diseños del siglo XX.

In the heart of Mexico City, we find the shopping center "Plaza del Ángel", one of the most important centers of antiques in Latin America. Inside the center, famous for its saturday's flea market, Daniel Liebsohn's Gallery is located, founded from 1988. In the space it is shown antiques and eccentricities, applied arts of the Mexican, European and Oriental art, from the 15th century to the 20th century. It is a place where after crossing the door, we change of period immediately, finding a new space, where the antiques inhabit contemporary spaces.

There are examples of the Dutch school of the 17th century and French of the 18th century, that coexist with work of the Newspanic painters, such as Michael Cabrera, Christobal de Villalpando, Joseph de Miranda, to mention some of the principal teachers of the period, all of them in an eclectic mixture, with exceeded designs of the 20th century.
